To enhance support for the many nonprofit organizations meeting community needs, the Community Foundation of Herkimer and Oneida Counties announced today that it will organize a first-ever 24-hour day of giving on September 20, 2022. “Mohawk Valley Gives” will provide nonprofits serving the two counties a free platform designed to build donor enthusiasm for their organizations.

Broadway Utica has established a permanent partnership with the Community Foundation of Herkimer and Oneida Counties to give the performing arts organization a way to support, expand and continue its impact for years to come.

The Community Foundation of Herkimer and Oneida Counties has created a community-wide fund in response to the military conflict in Ukraine and the probable arrival starting this year of a substantial number of Ukrainian refugees in the community. 

For more than 25 years, the effort has raised awareness about the increasingly important role of these philanthropic organizations.
