We help those seeking educational opportunities that will enrich their lives—and enhance our community.
Please note that scholarships administered by the Community Foundation of Herkimer & Oneida Counties are awarded through a variety of different mechanisms, including by school district selection, public application, or through our community partners, such as Utica Dollars for Scholars.
Established by F. Eugene Romano in memory of Jeanne Louise Ulrich Romano to award scholarships to a student attending Utica College pursuing a degree in business management.

Be attending Utica College pursuing a degree in Business Management

Be a full-time student who resides within a 10-mile radius of Utica

Excels in the Business Management curriculum

Maintain a "3.0" grade point average or better

Demonstrate traits which make him/her an asset to both the profession and this community
Established in memory of Thomas Maroun Acey by family to award a scholarship to students active in community service, who plan to stay in the Mohawk Valley and who parallel Mr. Acey's values, interests and life work.

Be a student at Thomas R. Proctor High School

Be accepted and attend Utica College or MVCC, in pursuit of a 2-year or 4-year degree

Exhibit potential during high school
