Ukraine Crisis Relief Fund

The Community Foundation has partnered with The Center to establish this special fund allowing donors to support local activities in response to the Ukrainian crisis, which could include aid for local refugees/families, resettlement resources, housing, and more.
If you are interested in supporting international causes, we encourage you to explore this list of response funds and resources that was cultivated by the Council on Foundations. These organizations have expertise in where the funds will go to the greatest use. Donors wishing to direct their monies abroad should give directly through these philanthropic institutions.
All contributions to the Community Foundation’s Ukraine Crisis Relief Fund will be directed to The Center in Utica, who will use the funding to support its local efforts in response to the Ukraine crisis. Though exact needs are unknown at this time, it is anticipated that the Mohawk Valley could see an influx of 5,000+ refugees from Ukraine. Funds will be used to ensure that The Center has the resources to support these newcomers.
