The Community Foundation of Herkimer and Oneida Counties has once again been recognized as the Best Place to Work in Central New York in the 15-50 employee category! This marks the second consecutive year the Foundation has earned this prestigious title, solidifying its reputation as a top employer in the region. The award was presented at the CNY Business Journal’s annual Best Places to Work event on September 9, 2024, held at the beautiful Timber Banks Golf Club in Baldwinsville. Surrounded by fellow honorees and business leaders, the Community Foundation celebrated this honor, which speaks to its strong organizational culture and commitment to staff well-being.
This award is particularly meaningful because it is based heavily on employee feedback, offering an authentic glimpse into what makes the Community Foundation such a special place to work. This recognition highlights the Community Foundation’s efforts in fostering a positive workplace, where employees are not only engaged but thrive in their roles, making a lasting impact on Herkimer and Oneida counties.
In conjunction with the awards ceremony, the CNY Business Journal also hosts an annual golf tournament for participating organizations.
Development and Communications Coordinator Bailey Hryb was awarded "longest drive" in the female division of the golf tournament.
Board member Brad Waters won "closest to the pin" in the men's division of the golf tournament.
