J. Caroline Williams has been named project manager for strategic initiatives at The Community Foundation of Herkimer & Oneida Counties. As a project manager, Williams helps to design and implement projects that support initiatives, including the Lead-Free MV Coalition. Lead-Free MV is one of The Community Foundation’s collective impact initiatives which seeks to address community challenges by leveraging resources and partnerships for maximum impact.

“Collective impact initiatives are a logical response to our community’s long-standing needs that require a focused comprehensive solution,” said Alicia Dicks, president/CEO of The Community Foundation. “Caroline’s experience in planning and development will be an asset to The Community Foundation and help advance our lead strategies to the next level.”

Prior to joining The Community Foundation, Williams was the rural and community development specialist for Rust to Green Urban Studio at Cornell Cooperative Extension where she fostered new and existing partnerships to aid in the implementation of community development projects. Her work encouraged sustainable urban development in Upstate New York.
