Overview
Utica Dollars for Scholars is a locally-focused scholarship program dedicated to helping area students pursue higher education and achieve their goals. Since 1994, more than 2,200 students have received over $2 million in scholarships, made possible through the generosity of local families, businesses, organizations, and community partners. The program primarily supports students in the City of Utica and across the Mohawk Valley, recognizing academic achievement, leadership, potential, and financial need.
Already long-time partners, Utica Dollars for Scholars is now working more closely with the Community Foundation to receive additional administrative support and enhance the application process for students served. This partnership brings together the legacy of Utica Dollars for Scholars, the generosity of local donors and the expertise of the Community Foundation to ensure these opportunities continue to grow and make a lasting impact.
