Overview

The Oneida County Sheriff’s Office Wellness Fund is dedicated to strengthening the resilience and well-being of department personnel and their families. The fund provides consistent, accessible, and culturally competent mental health and wellness support designed to reduce stigma, encourage proactive care, and help first responders thrive both personally and professionally. By investing in physical, mental, and emotional wellness, the initiative supports a healthier workforce and a stronger service to the community.

Donations will assist in supporting:

  • Annual individual wellness sessions
  • Eight hours per month of onsite support, including wellness check-ins, peer support, trainings, consultations, outreach, and quick huddles
  • Access to additional offsite sessions (virtual or in-office) for personnel seeking greater privacy or flexible scheduling
  • A wellness app - Your Best Week Yet - that aims to assist users in tracking healthy habits, provide meal plan ideas to promote mindful eating, track and improve sleep habits, and influence healthier daily choices
