Overview
The Little Falls City School District strives to inspire and empower students to reach their full academic, physical, and emotional potential in a safe and supportive environment. Through the establishment of its new scholarship fund by Neil Baum, Class of 1960 and Karen Baum, Class of 1989, the district will further support students by helping remove financial barriers to higher education, career training, and enrichment opportunities. Scholarships from the fund will recognize student achievement, encourage perseverance and community involvement.
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must be graduates of the Little Falls City School District and meet one of the following criteria: they are enrolled in a four-year degree program at an accredited institution of higher education immediately following graduation; they have successfully completed a two-year degree program at an accredited institution and are continuing their studies toward a four-year degree; or they delayed pursuing higher education after graduating from the Little Falls City School District and are now enrolled in a four-year degree program at an accredited institution. Preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate financial need, have participated in extracurricular activities, and exhibit emerging leadership qualities.
