Overview

Kelberman provides comprehensive autism programs and services for individuals across all phases of life, from early childhood through adulthood, including home & community-based, educational, clinical, residential, and camp services, with over 1,000 individuals served annually.

The organization is dedicated to meeting individuals and families where they are in life and supporting them every step of the way as they define autism and navigate that journey together. Kelberman’s expert staff empower the individuals they support through specialized, one-of-a-kind programs, resources, and wrap-around services that create fulfilling, life-enriching experiences for individuals and families.

Recognizing the need to serve families affected by autism beyond preschool, Kelberman was officially incorporated as an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in 2005 in Utica. Today, the organization operates locations in both Utica and Syracuse, as well as seven community residences. In 2021, Kelberman opened the LINK Apartments in Utica—the first of its kind in New York State—an inclusive living community designed for individuals of all abilities.
