Broadway Utica - Youth Ambassador Program Fund

The Bernadette Eichler Youth Ambassador Program is celebrating its 15th year with Broadway Utica, providing high school students throughout Central New York with meaningful opportunities to experience live theater, connect with their peers, engage with their community, and develop a deeper appreciation for the arts.

Generously sponsored in part by Bank of Utica, the program provides selected students each year with a full season subscription to Broadway Utica’s performances at no cost to them or their families. This year, more than 40 students are participating. Throughout the season, Youth Ambassadors attend pre-show talks, write reviews of the performances, participate in volunteer and community service opportunities, and take part in activities that encourage connection, leadership, and community involvement.

The Youth Ambassadors also take an active role in supporting their program through an annual fundraising raffle. Additional community support helps Broadway Utica provide experiences throughout the season that extend beyond the performances, including student activities, refreshments, volunteer opportunities, intergenerational programming, and special experiences such as the group’s annual trip to New York City to see a Broadway production.

Your support helps us continue creating opportunities for these young people to learn, explore, connect, and participate. It allows us to build on the foundation of the Youth Ambassador Program and provide experiences that can help shape their confidence, their connection to the community, and their appreciation for the arts.
