Scholarship Opportunities
We help those seeking educational opportunities that will enrich their lives—and enhance our community.
Please note that scholarships administered by the Community Foundation of Herkimer & Oneida Counties are awarded through a variety of different mechanisms, including by school district selection, public application, or through our community partners, such as Utica Dollars for Scholars.
A scholarship fund for graduates from Edmeston Central School pursuing a degree in the following fields: STEM, medical sciences, veterinary medicine, trades, alternative heating sources, geothermal, air source, solar or wind. Students involved with extracurricular activities and/or planning to attend Clarkson will receive preference.
Established to benefit graduates from the town of Edmeston pursuing studies in STEM, the trades or medical sciences.

Required Criteria:
- Graduates from Edmeston Central School
- Pursuing one of these specific areas of study: STEM, medical sciences, veterinary
medicine, trades, alternative heating sources, geothermal, air source, solar or wind. - Up to four awards may be given each year.
- Each award will be $500.
- Awards will be renewable for up to four years.

- Graduates planning to attend Clarkson will receive preference.
- Graduates demonstrating engagement in extracurricular activities will receive preference.
