We help those seeking educational opportunities that will enrich their lives—and enhance our community.
Please note that scholarships administered by the Community Foundation of Herkimer & Oneida Counties are awarded through a variety of different mechanisms, including by school district selection, public application, or through our community partners, such as Utica Dollars for Scholars.
Established to provide scholarships to students at Crown Point and Moriah Central high schools who plan to study math or one of the physical sciences.

Be a student at Crown Point High School

Be planning to attend a 2-year or 4-year college or university; or begin with a 2-year school with plans to transfer to a 4-year school

College or university must not have any religious affiliation whatsoever

Be planning to study math or one of the physical sciences with plans to pursue a career in medicine, engineering or other career related to math or natural sciences

Exhibit an excellent aptitude in the physical sciences or math

Demonstrate financial need
