We help those seeking educational opportunities that will enrich their lives—and enhance our community.
Please note that scholarships administered by the Community Foundation of Herkimer & Oneida Counties are awarded through a variety of different mechanisms, including by school district selection, public application, or through our community partners, such as Utica Dollars for Scholars.
Established by Lisa Brickey in memory of her aunt and uncle, Mary O. and Donald H. McDaniels, who had a lifelong passion for music. Scholarships are awarded to students from Camden Central School District that have a passion for music or musical theatre.

Be attending Camden Central High School

Be accepted and planning to attend an accredited a 2-year or 4-year college or university pursuing any field of study

Must have an interest and ability in vocal and/or instrumental music (or musical theater)

Must express a passion for their music by sharing it within their school and/or community (no extensive music courses need to have been taken in high school)
Established by the family of Neil F. Harden to provide an award to a student from Camden High School that has successfully completed a BOCES program.

Be a senior who has successfully completed a BOCES program with an average of 85 or above in their BOCES coursework
