Please note that scholarships administered by the Community Foundation of Herkimer & Oneida Counties are awarded through a variety of different mechanisms, including by school district selection, public application, or through our community partners, such as Utica Dollars for Scholars.

Established by Barbara Mufti in honor of Benjamin Mufti whose life was ended far too soon in a car accident. The scholarship is awarded to a graduate of New Hartford High School who meets the scholarship criteria with a preference for candidates planning to major in English or pursue creative writing.
