Utica Library safe from damage thanks to grant

The beautiful and historic Utica Public Library faced the threat of leakage in its building because of a faulty gutter system.A $100,000 grant from The Foundation has kept this community gem safe from damage.

The grant allowed the library to repair its system before any damage could occur.

Funds from The Foundation’s donor advisors helped to make this happen.

Donor advisors choose how the money they donate to The Foundation is allocated in Oneida and Herkimer counties.
