The Community Foundation of Herkimer and Oneida Counties will host its second-annual 24-hour day of community giving, “Mohawk Valley Gives,” on Wednesday, September 20, to benefit local nonprofits serving the region.
A Utica couple whose generosity has touched countless lives over the last two decades has received the Community Foundation of Herkimer and Oneida Counties’ highest award for community philanthropy.
The Connor Arthur Lynskey Memorial Scholarship Fund’s scholarship committee is pleased to announce this year’s recipients for its scholarship awards to graduating seniors from high schools in Oneida and Herkimer counties.
The Community Foundation of Herkimer and Oneida Counties hosted its first 24-hour day of giving, “Mohawk Valley Gives,” on Tuesday to benefit local nonprofits serving the two counties. The community came together and raised more than $600,000 in 24 hours from 1,800+ unique donors and over 2,800 individual donations. These numbers are expected to continue to climb as donations will be accepted until Friday, September 30, at givemv.org.

To enhance support for the many nonprofit organizations meeting community needs, the Community Foundation of Herkimer and Oneida Counties announced today that it will organize a first-ever 24-hour day of giving on September 20, 2022. “Mohawk Valley Gives” will provide nonprofits serving the two counties a free platform designed to build donor enthusiasm for their organizations.
